Overall 2024 marked a significant year for Regen Network, characterized by substantial growth in ecocredit facilitation, methodology development, and community engagement. Despite market volatility, the network maintained strong fundamentals with high staking ratios and active development.
Eco Projects’ Progress on Attracting Resources
- Total volume of ecocredits facilitated by the network: $6M+ (both OTC and marketplace)
- Mostly Biodiversity credits (82% of the global biodiversity market)

- Brand commons: The regen brand commons continues to work towards the exclosure of the trademark for Regen Network, including the use of regen related to ecosystem service payments and all blockchain and crypto currency projects. The idea is to create a trust whose board of trustees is elected by a DUNA. We have been supported by Jessie Kate Schlinger, Michael Zargham, Primavera de Fillipi, metagov and others in the design. The aim is to liberate and coordinate around the regen term and brand: unleashing innovation and creating more alignment. The next steps are: Creation of a trust, Moving regen brand to trust. This has not been the highest priority a go out but continues to move
