Please explain how your project meets the Climate Solutions Round eligibility criteria
Regen Tokenomics DAO is building an economics expertise and governance center, one of the key pillars of the Regen network.
We intend to develop the $REGEN token and economy towards better:
- Rewarding regenerative ecological outcomes
- Incentivizing accurate ecological data to be produced and shared
- Supporting open-source technological development aimed at ecological and agricultural applications in blockchain, remote sensing, IoT, machine learning, and fintech
Our strategic tasks are
- Researching business needs with the help of experts from the community (Blockscience, Trusted Seed, Curvelabs, TEC, BFI, etc)
- Implementing the POC of the new tokenomics and tech solutions
- Inviting people to become partners for the institution / participate in the mission and practice “Built-in-public” approach
The Grant must be primarily focused on climate solutions (the group may do other work but the grant proposal should be directly related to climate solutions). The proposal should explicitly outline how this project will help reduce GHGs or is an important core infrastructure for web3 climate solutions. For each type of climate solution project, including data and specific measurement plans will enhance your application.Your project should be part of one of these categories of Climate Solutions that CCN has identified:
- Renewable Energy - Oracles & dMRV - Carbon Accounting - Climate Activism/Education - Nature-Based Solutions - Ocean-Based Solutions - Climate Adaptation/Climate Resilience - Supply Chain solutions - Built Environment/Transportation
If you've received funding in past grant rounds, please share any new updates or milestones from the prior months. You can also include the challenges you've faced.
How do you measure the impact of your project? Please provide examples and/or standard metrics. This might be used in future impact reports
By strategic behaviours for different stakeholders’ groups from
which are reported on in the updates section
Eligibility Requirements: 1. Advance the field of token engineering (tldr; economics and system design with crypto / design and analysis of cryptoeconomic systems)
2. Focus on token engineering research, education, software development and/or social infrastructure
3. Be a public good
4. Specify your short-term goals (within the scope of the grant) and long-term vision of their projects
5. Provide some proof of already existing work and list any recent milestones, even if small, to be included into the round
6. Have a project update - If you are a returning grantee, you must provide an update on what work has been accomplished since the last grant round your project received funding from
7. Have a verified Twitter account
What specific problem(s) do you seek to solve with this grant, and how will you know whether you have accomplished your goal(s)?
Problem:
- Regen Tokens are hugely undervalued, economic security and capacity is under risk due to the cryptowinter and challenges of connecting eco-RWA with crypto
- We need this working group as
- insurance policy for investors
- improving the game (theory) for our digital citizens
- dec. decision making
Solution: Build an economics expertise and governance centre, one of the key pillar of the Regen network. More specifically run researches, proposals and governance.
Describe how your project contributes to token engineering and why it is a valuable public good.
We experiment in the new field of Regenerative Economics and ReFi, the solutions intended to improve both ecological and social situation on the planet. All the research is done publicly. It’s a great arena for testing ideas, learning (we have some people who just follow our work to learn) and regenerative impact. In our work we’re touching on the problems of evaluation of eco assets and creation of liquidity towards ecosystem development projects. New development also builds on cooperative banking idea and CoFi.
