The development on the on-chain ecocredit sales is great, though it would be beneficial to diversify the funds streaming. We’re trying to include investments and loans to increase the impact & revenues for the network.

Environmentalists: (eco-activists) associate $REGEN with public eco network/ledger and ecological health overall

NYC Climate Week went great, with a few Regen focused events, including a Shantigar retreat where a lot of weaving happened around the constitution and future of the network

Brand commons: The regen brand commons continues to work towards the exclosure of the trademark for Regen Network, including the use of regen related to ecosystem service payments and all blockchain and crypto currency projects. The idea is to create a trust whose board of trustees is elected by a DUNA. We have been supported by Jessie Kate Schlinger, Michael Zargham, Primavera de Fillipi, metagov and others in the design. The aim is to liberate and coordinate around the regen term and brand: unleashing innovation and creating more alignment. The next steps are: Creation of a trust, Moving regen brand to trust. This has not been the highest priority a go out but continues to move

It’s still hard to esailty count the # of funds. To try: Foundation, RND, Cerulean (and up to 100 private investors from the ICO), Tokenomics wg, around a dozen of csDAOs. Maybe more on-chain analytics can help.

DApp Developers / Token Engineers: launch complementary applications on the $REGEN ledger

Cosmwasm upgrade – still blocked on the engineer in charge of upgrade, JC leaning in and Aaron (tight on time though) 0.47 is ready, but failing in the simulation, needs debug. Maybe Noah could do it

Fee / burn feature was added in the beginning of the year but wasn’t used so far (comes with cosmwasm update)

Crosschain sales are a big achievement and there’re big plans on further collaboration with EcoToken. Difficulties on the Cosmwasm upgrade indicate a shortage of resources (talent and potentially funds) for the development. It can be solved for a short time, but requires a systemic solution for resource planning.

Venture studio could help group professionals towards work, and hopefully elevate others’ professional development. One of the participants has some raw desert land planning to tend to as part of participating in data streams in dmrv for starters.

People feel lost interacting with regen network materials (like websites) and require the support from the team to find the needed info. Also there’s a complexity with Slack, Telegram, Signal, Discord, Hylo groups. Can’t be sure where the message would be read. There was a proposal to move to discord / connect it with current telegram group, but left for later.
